## Welcome to our World of Lighthouses!

When Potomac Electric employees take time away from motors and controllers, they love to travel and take pictures, like most people.

But some of our employees avidly seek out lighthouses. They have a nature born in New England, the land of sailors, fisherman and the sea. They have tried to capture the distinct character and beauty of each lighthouse as they saw it in their own eyes.

Times have changed over the last 200 years — in the age of GPS, lighthouses are no longer needed. Still, they represent the beauty of the sea and the power of the human spirit to explore the unknown.

Many lighthouses no longer exist while others have been protected and preserved as part of our heritage in every country around the world.

You are welcome to review the pictures we have taken. The beautiful experiences of taking them and the memories they invoke of days gone by more than make up for any lack in the expertise of our photographers.

If you would like to send us a lighthouse photo that you enjoy, we will add it to the collection. Please include information on where the lighthouse is/was located and, if known, the year it was built.

You can email the photo and information to us at <info@potomacelectric.com>.

Thank You
Potomac Electric Employees
